They are committed to fostering excellence in academic study and to the teaching of positive social and moral development, good manners and etiquette.

Governors and governesses focus on education and mentoring and are not usually responsible for basic care-giving tasks (meals, laundry, hygiene etc.).

They usually travel with the family as and when required.
